Contributing to Radical AI Open Source Projects
Whenever someone outside of Radical AI wants to submit a change to a Radical open source project, they must first sign a Contributor License Agreement (CLA). This allows the contributor to retain their ownership in the code submitted while granting Radical AI the necessary legal rights to use that contribution. The CLA only needs to be signed once and it covers all OSS at Radical AI.
Why do we need a CLA
A CLA helps keep open-source projects legally sound by ensuring contributors grant the necessary rights to their work. It protects both contributors and maintainers, prevents legal headaches, and makes it easier for companies to use and support the project.
Signing the CLA
Depending on whose behalf you're contributing, click one of the below links to sign the CLA:
- Sign our Individual CLA if you are contributing on behalf of yourself
- Sign our Corporate CLA if you are contributing on behalf of your employer
Our individual CLA is simple and takes effect immediately upon agreement. However, our Corporate CLA requires a signature from an authorized representative and a review by someone at Radical AI, so it may take a few days to process before you can start contributing.
Verifying signatures
CLA signatures are automatically verified within our Github repos by cla-bot. The bot will add a label to PRs where the contributor's Github username is associated with a signed CLA. The bot automatically checks every pull request and every commit and re-checks on every push.

If you need to update your CLA or have any questions/comments please email cla@radical-ai.com from the email address associated with your individual or corporate info.
